How do you pronounce your name?
It sounds like "Now-ko"
I am new to yoga. I am stiff and out of shape. Can I still practice with you?
Absolutely! By starting out gently at a pace that is beneficial to you, you will improve your strength and flexibility.
I have health conditions, is it safe for me to work with you?
Clients often come to me with various health conditions and physical limitations. I have experience working with clients with disk injuries, chronic pain, cancer, diabetes, diastasis recti, and multiple sclerosis. I also have experience working with clients who have had surgeries.*
I am pregnant, can I do yoga?
Yes, I have both training and experience with prenatal yoga. Most healthy pregnant women can practice safely well into their third trimester.*
When can I expect to notice the effects of yoga?
My clients often feel the positive effects during and after their very first session. Their bodies feel looser and their minds are clearer and relaxed. Aches and stiffness tend to ease up or disappear completely. *
Do I need special equipment for the sessions?
You can start out with just a mat or a towel.
How long is each session?
One hour.
Where do you offer yoga?
In clients' homes in Lower Westchester and Fairfield Counties. The towns I serve include Rye, Harrison, White Plains, Mamaroneck, and Larchmont in NY and Greenwich, CT.
How much does a session cost?
Due to the thought and planning that goes into designing a yoga program, rates vary. The rate also depends on how far I have to travel. They are often between $130-160 per session. I offer special package rates for regular sessions. I will quote you the exact cost before your first session.
*Yoga sessions are not meant to diagnose, treat or cure health conditions. Clients are asked to fill out a waiver. Clients with existing health conditions are asked to get clearance from their physicians.
